Armour in Russian Art

I came across the art of a Russian artist who, similar to Albarran, uses armour in his artwork and also portrays a fantasy/dream world. I like how the women are portrayed as powerful yet beautiful and the harshness and strength of the armour against the peaceful surroundings. This is something that I want to put across with my theme-the idea of power through armour inspired shapes with a delicate aura of femininity through print/fabric manipulation.
